Yes I know we are all awaiting Updates on the Covid-19 restrictions, but you can still register online as we are not collecting any money as of yet! As well if ever Interested in coaching feel free to register as well, it is an amazing feeling coaching a team!

We believe soccer should be affordable for every family and the cost of the season should never be a barrier to getting kids on the field. Did you know that Edmonton has two large name options to assist families with funding? Jumpstart in partnership with Canadian Tire offers funding for low-income families at https://jumpstart.canadiantire.ca/p/individual-child-grants for up to $300/year per sport/activity. ... KidSport Canada offers funding for low income +30% families at https://kidsportcanada.ca/alber/edmonton/apply-for-a-grant/ for up to $250/child per year and $125/application CGSA outdoor 2021 has prices of $75.00-$140.00 depending on age group so please keep the funding information if needed because your whole season(minus community membership) can be covered! If for any reason you do not qualify for either program, and cost is a barrier please do not hesitate to reach out to your community league you will be registering with(Steele Heights, Hairsine, McLeod or Fraser) We are all willing to see what steps we can take to work with you to get your kid on the field! We cannot wait to see you guys soon!

Psssst! I just heard CGSA is meeting TONIGHT to solidify registration dates so we can open SOON! We just can't wait any longer! I also heard that CGSA has set their 2021 Outdoor fees and that NO age group has fees over $150.00 because soccer should be fun and affordable for all!... Pass it on guys, we will see you very soon!

Dear CGSA Families, We understand the frustration families are feeling around the stop and go that has been our indoor season so far and we want you to know we hear you and we feel it to. With the current COVID-19 protocols in place CGSA has had no choice but to pause the season a mere one week in. As of present, the season will be paused until the middle of January. We hope that we will be up and playing after this three week pause is over and that we will still get in an ...incredible season stretching out into March. Our goal is to have a CGSA indoor season, that is our hope and that is what we are working towards. We want to thank you for your continued patience and grace during these unprecedented times and we look forward to getting all of our CGSA kids on the fields, as soon as it is safe and possible. We will continue to update you as more announcements come forward and this all unfolds. Did you know that getting a good sleep is one of the best ways to stay healthy? You need 8-12 hours of sleep a night to stay healthy depending on your age! Here’s some tips to changes you can make to your day to help you sleep better: 1- Try to spend some time outdoors every day.... 2- Plan your physical activity for earlier in the day, not right before you go to bed. 3- Stay away from caffeine (including coffee, tea, and soda) late in the day. 4- If you have trouble sleeping at night, limit daytime naps to 20 minutes or less. 5- Don’t eat a big meal close to bedtime.
