This summer, at least 50 homeless people in Montreal lost their lives due to an overdose, more than TRIPLE the previous year! Because of COVID-19, borders are closed, so drugs were not entering, or very little. So, to get the same profits, the manufacturers had to cut the drug with fentanyl, which costs nothing, but which causes respiratory arrest, he explains.
