I love it when someone thinks to have a photographer there to capture their proposal! Last weekend that’s exactly what Chris did. He had everything planned out to the last detail. I met him a few minutes early at Ambassador Golf Club Weddings. The space was setup for the proposal and for a special surprise dinner his both their families! Chris brought Tina out under the pretence that he had to pickup a piece of DJ equipment from the club and had her wait in the car. Once e...verything was set he caked her to come in and it was showtime! Needless to say, she said YES! I may have had a few tears in my eyes. I must be getting more sensitive as I get older, or all the amazing couples we photograph have worn me down. It was simply a very beautiful moment. I have several hundred photos to go through but here is just a few from the proposal and a quick photo session afterwards. A huge congratulations to Chris and Tina!!

Just before heading to Algonquin last week I had the distinct pleasure of seeing these two lovebirds tie the knot in their own special way. The gathering was small as you might expect during this pandemic but the love and joy was real and the most important people in their lives were there to witness their vows. The weather could not have been more beautiful for an intimate beach wedding. Congratulations Liz and James!... As a bonus, I got to work with my good friend Dani who performed the service. Emily and Chris wanted a camping themed engagement shoot in Algonquin Park. I asked, How adventurous are you?

Chanel and I are out of the office for the next week. We have an elopement to shoot in Erieau today, an engagement session in Algonquin tomorrow and then our four-day Algonquin Photography Workshop the rest of the week.
