Chalmers Community Centre 11.02.2021

We will be starting our Friday evening Bingo on August 28, 2020. Here are the new Covid -19 rules. Maximun capacity 80. (5) staff members and (75) patrons.... Doors open at 5:00 PM. First come seating, there will be no saving seats for anyone. You must be present to receive a ticket to purchase your books. Book sales open at 5:30 PM. AS YOU ENTER THE BUILDING EACH AND EVERY TIME YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SANITIZE YOUR HANDS. SANITIZING STATIONS AT EVERY ENTRANCE AND EXIT. You will be asked to self check for covid-19 symptoms. You will be asked to sign a declaration of acknowledging the risks and for tracking community spread. Masks are not mandatory but encouraged. Chairs and tables are not to be moved. Canteen will be open for drinks, chips, chocolate bars. Hoping everyone will come out and have some fun. Chalmers CC Friday bingo is closed until at least August 31, 2020 and at that time we will review the situation to determine if we will set a date to re-open. Please be patient with all of us while we get through this pandemic!

Effective March 16, 2020 our facility was closed and remains closed due to COVID-19. IMPORTANT MESSAGE REGARDING SPORTS REGISTRATION May 1, 2020 Soccer Program Ages 3 to 18... Soccer programs are community club run and controlled. In saying that, we have cancelled the 2020 soccer season in it's entirety. We would kindly ask that you be patient as we begin processing refunds. Refunds will be issued to the address we have on file at the time of registration. Hardball is governed by the Red River Valley Baseball Assoc (RRVBA). RRVBA has postponed their season and has not officially cancelled anything as of yet. You must contact them directly to inquire about refunds or go their website for more details. Softball is governed by the North East Softball Assoc (NESA) and Manitoba Softball. They too have postponed their season and have not cancelled anything to date. You must contact them directly to inquire about refunds or go their website for more details. A late fee of $50.00 per registration will be applied commencing March 8, 2020 for those who register late. All registration fees are payable in cash or cheque only are required to be paid in full prior to your child being placed on a team. An administration fee of $25.00 will be applied on any cheques returned by your financial institution. This amount is required to be paid in full along with the registration fee before your child is placed on a team. If applying for GCWCC subsidy the club requires a copy of both parents Notices of Assessment from Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) for the tax year 2018 or 2019. *****WE NEED COACHES FOR ALL AGE GROUPS***** *****WE NEED SOCCER CONVENERS FOR ALL AGE GROUPS***** In order for Chalmers Community Centre to form teams by age groups coaches are required. Without coaches your child may be transferred to another club where coaches may be available. If there are no coaches at any of the other clubs in the district or the other clubs have enough of their own players to make their own teams then your child may not play soccer. An incentive payment is available for those who choose to step up and coach for our club. **7 to 18** - Scheduling will be done once registration is completed and we have attended the transfer meeting held at Phoenix Soccer Clubhouse and then all parents will be notified by the coach as to days and times of games. **Timbits players (age 3 to 6) will play twice a week on Monday to Thursday.** Jerseys are supplied by Tim Hortons.
