Seating plans can be our couples biggest stresses, and we get asked a lot should we even do one. We get it, It’s overwhelming on top of everything else but once you get into the swing of it, it’s actually pretty fun. While it’s not mandatory, we believe you’re better off with one than without. Why? ... 1. It eases your guests anxiety - Believe it or not guests get pretty anxious when it comes to not knowing where to sit. 2. Tables don’t get filled - You’ll find that guests don’t want to sit separately from other friends so they huddle all onto one table leaving other tables empty. 3. Less pressure on your MC - After the head table elderly and children are usually the next to be called up to the buffet. If your MC knows the exact table number those guests are sat at, its as easy as your 1 2 3’s. If you are opting for plated dinner service, things can quickly get confusing and most catering companies or venues will require you to have a seating plan with assigned seating. When you have your plan figured out you can use any 3 options to lead guest to their seats - Place cards, Escort cards and The Seating Chart. See more

This cute little area was designed as a stand in podium. Unfortunately, during sound check we realized some technical difficulties and opted for plan B. Either way, it worked out and this ended up being another beautiful detail to Ashlee & Garett’s magical day
