I am thrilled to have such a great response with my introduction of WoodUbend Mouldings in my area! I'm looking forward to building my customer base and showing these amazing products to all of you on my projects. I've got a few projects in the works. I am so proud of this piece. It was totally transformed from an ugly duckling to a thing of beauty! I bought this console at an auction site unseen. You never really know what you are going to get until you pick it up. I thought this was a really sturdy piece. It "mostly" was except the whole top was broken and not attached! This sat in the garage in my hubby's way (hint, hint). He really wanted the space back so he decided the best way to get rid of it (read: move it downsta...irs) was to re-do the top for me. He added a nice backing to it as well. I created a custom deep red chalk paint and gave it 2 coats. The top is done with Fusion Mineral Paint in black. I clear waxed the body of the console then added some depth with black wax. I used black wax on the top as well to seal it. I added a beautiful WoodUBend Pediment (WUB1374), painted in the same red and highlighted with gold guilding wax. I added these gorgeous knobs and I think it is a lovely piece of furniture now! Here is my first project using WoodUbend Mouldings WUB 1449. My wonderful husband made the box. I purchased some fancy feet and closure clasp, gave it a couple of coats of Fusion Mineral Paint in Coal Black. I added some gold guilding wax to the WoodUBend mouldings. The bee image is a piece of decoupaged tissue paper. I am playing around with the WoodUBend products and love them. I should be done my next project in a couple of days. OMG! Today is better than Christmas! I received my first order from WoodUbend Mouldings this afternoon. I couldn't wait to tear open the box to see these amazing products. I will be selling WoodUBend Mouldings in our Champagne Shabby Etsy site shortly and in our booth Hamilton Antique Mall when it reopens (hopefully soon). I can't wait to use these - I've got a few projects lined up for some of them. I'll be sure to share them with you. Who knows? I might even try my hand at a video!
