We are very excited to announce that the PowerCOAT product line is now available in the USA through our very close partner, Scorpion Protective Coatings in Clov...erdale, Indiana!! This last week was spent getting the Scorpion team set up and trained on these fantastic products so that they can offer them to their extensive applicator network in the USA! On top of that we took the opportunity to apply some product to Kelly Lewis's garage floor!

Champion Coatings was approached by one of our clients to see if we could do something with his driveway coating. The original product used to coat the driveway, sidewalks and steps was a product similar to Sierra Stone. The look didn't last very long so this homeowner was told by a concrete supply store to apply a coat of tinted epoxy over top of the Sierra Stone. Well many years and many coats of epoxy later we were asked for a product that would look good and last longer... than epoxy. First off, epoxy DOES NOT have any UV stability so it will chalk out or amber like crazy outside. As you can see in the pics the driveway is faded black and the pink borders are dull and ugly as well. So if you ever use epoxy outside expect it to look very bad in a short time. So we applied a test patch of our urethane tinted black in the summer of 2013 and then came back and inspected the driveway a year later and the black urethane looked like the day it was put down. the rest of the driveway and sidewalks were coated and it looked amazing in the end. Needless to say the client was very happy! UPDATE: The last 4 pictures were taken in July of 2019, 5 years later, and this coating still looks amazing and is holding up great.
