One of the ways that we Love Local, PEI is trying new venues when we have groups that are too big for our own space. Last week we hosted a group at Lobster On The Wharf - it was like we were in a magical snow globe to have views of the water and big snowflakes falling outside. The space was great to set the tone for learning and growth! PS - our matching outfits were not planned!

Last week we had the final Conscious Leader Forum session for one of our cohorts. As we reflected on the time spent together, the most powerful learning and growth was in who the leaders have become during this time.

Conscious Leadership is for entrepreneurs too. We just wrapped up the 3rd session of our first ever Conscious Entrepreneur Forum! Today we focused on taking 100% responsibility. It's so common as a business owner to get stuck in the dreaded drama triangle where we can take on too much or find ourselves blaming others or our circumstances. How many times have you held yourself back in fear of hearing NO? What opportunities are you leaving on the table because of this uncertainty? If you could look at things from curiosity and possibility instead of fear and scarcity you might be willing to just ask. ... We are in this right now as we work to fill the final spots of our Conscious Entrepreneur Forum. For every yes we've had so far we have heard many more no's. If we hadn't been willing to put it out there we wouldn't have the amazing group of entrepreneurs that are ready to learn & grow with us! This Thanksgiving weekend gave us lots of time to think about what we are thankful for... Today we are grateful that we have hospitality partners that help us when our space is too small for some groups. What are you grateful for?

Some good news to start your Wednesday... Our founder, Lisa Chandler and her daughter, Lali are making headlines this week with their backyard business. The article below was featured in the Morning Brief on CBC. Les fleurs de Lali was started three years ago as a creative way to raise money for charity. The grow flowers in their garden, make bouquets and offer them for a donation. These funds go to Ronald McDonald House Charities Atlantic. So far they have raised over $3,00...0. Are you paying attention to the present moment?

When something is upsetting you, it is helpful to take a look at the facts vs the stories you're telling yourself... In this article, Jim Dethmer of The Conscious Leadership Group show us how to do this simple process to gain clarity on your suffering. He states: "Facts have never caused my suffering. My suffering is caused by the stories I make up." Read it over and then try the process for yourself!

In Monday's Experience Conscious Leadership Session our participants were given the opportunity to get on the drama triangle! It's likely that you're playing these roles without even knowing it.
