I hate to bring up last year! I know she’s behind us, but all of her wonderful teachings are coming with me into 2021 . And here is a lesson that I learned from 2020 . ... . I used to learn something new Or hear something profound Get an a-ha Or major insight And my first thought was I know exactly who needs to hear this And I would think of all the people I knew that I perceived to be in some type of shitty situation and proceed to try and force my new knowledge upon them . (Side lesson: people do not want unsolicited advice ) . - . I am not meant to gather them up and give them out I am meant to keep them Take them in for myself . . And become the version of myself these lessons are leading me towards . Armed with this new information My shoulders relaxed My thoughts slowed And I understood that my responsibility is to . And allow that to be inspiration in itself . So whenever I want to direct my thoughts outward Control or change what is going on outside of me My new response is to turn the lens inward and learn more about what is going on inside And in doing so I am More free More conscious More Centered within myself . Learning to turn inward instead of looking out has truly been a blessing in 2020 . Integration . Last year was just absolutely filled with unlearning old conditioned ways of Being Thinking... Doing Believing . And recognizing how much I had internalized so much nonsense about myself, other people and the world that just was not true! . And then literally out all the bullsh*t that never made sense to me Never served me Never supported my true self . Through Meditation Healing Studying Exploring And questioning I have been able to begin reconnecting with who I am As a person with a soul With a purpose That goes far beyond all the BS we’ve been taught . Anti-racism and the racial justice movement along with connecting to my spirit has allowed me to not only see myself for who I truly am But to see others as well . . Living with purpose and intention is our birthright . This year it’s time to put it all together It’s time to Live in my truth Live in integrity with my eyes and my heart open . 2021 and beyond will be about growing more into who I am on a soul level and embodying this version of myself everywhere I am and having so much fun doing it . Also I have Aquarius everywhere in my birth chart and apparently this is our time so let’s goooo! .
