Launching in January is a new pilot project called Barrie HomeShare that matches student volunteers to local seniors to help foster deeper community connects and reduce social isolation. The web application that drives the match-making was conceptualized through the intersections of our Social Service Worker Program and our Interactive Media and Web Design Programs.
