People with disabilities represent the largest minority group in Canada (around 22% of the population) and anyone can accidentally become a member at any time. The COVID-19 pandemic has been difficult for many, particularly for persons with disabilities who often face additional hardships and barriers to participation.... The modernized Enabling Accessibility Fund will provide funding to organizations for construction, renovation or retrofit projects that enable persons with disabilities to live and work in more inclusive and accessible communities.
