As of yesterday, Ottawa's Chief Public Health Officer issued a Directive indicating that masks are now mandatory in all indoor public spaces. Masks alone will not prevent the spread of COVID-19. You must consistently and strictly adhere to good hygiene and public health measures, including frequent hand washing and physical (social) distancing.

Dear valued client, I want to begin by letting you know that I haven’t forgotten about you. Thank you for doing your part, I hope you have been keeping well, safe, and healthy. I have been doing my part in staying home, and trying to figure out the steps to come, as the information is given to me. In an effort to prevent and control the spread of COVID-19, the Government of Ontario has extended the closure of all non-essential businesses until May 19, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. Howev...er, I suspect the closures will go beyond said date as it has changed multiple times already. Our College continues to work collaboratively with our health system partners on developing guidelines for return to practice when the emergency/urgent care restrictions are lifted. I also continue to monitor the situation and stay up to date on the latest products and procedures for re-opening, when the time should come. As soon as I am able to be Phased in, and restrictions are lifted, I will send out another notice letting you know when I am open and ready to offer my Massage services once again. Due to current events and a very explicit request from CMTO (College of Massage Therapists of Ontario) all treatments are being suspended until further notice. Anyone looking for advice on how to self-treat please throw me a line, I'd be happy to help!

As a health and wellness practitioner, I pride myself on proper sterility and an overall clean environment. With this being said, I am still OPEN for business and am taking extra precautions by increasingly cleaning ALL contacted surfaces between all patients. Luckily, I am in a low traffic clinic which minimizes the potential for further spread.
