The Box Canyon Hydroelectric Project is a 15 MW (approximately) run-of-river hydroelectric generation project located about 10.5 km North East of Port Mellon on the west side of Howe Sound, British Columbia. The Project consists of high level intake diversions for Box Canyon Creek, Marty Creek, Cascara Creek and a number of small tributaries, a water conveyance pipeline, a penstock network and a single unit powerhouse. Flows will be released into McNabb Creek immediately downstream of the powerhouse. The Owner of the Project is Box Canyon Hydroelectric Corporation.
