Merry Christmas Adam..... We are so grateful to those of you who have given to us in this season. We wish we could embrace each of you and say THANK YOU. wow. Your generosity and excitement for Charis Camp blew us away. We raised over $2800 during our week-long "5 Days of Fundraise" fundraiser selling pies, toy bags, sauces, chocolate, ornaments and coasters! Yes!!! In November and December we asked for donations for Giving Tuesday to help us get through this di...fficult time. You heard us and rose to the occasion as $8900 in one-time donations came through! We also asked for you to commit to Charis long-term as a monthly donor, and we are so excited to announce we are at 9 monthly donors, totalling $640 per month! This is a first for Charis Camp. With your support, we raised over $12,300!!! As our way of saying thank you, we wanted to do a giveaway! Jesse and Anna Wheeler of @jwheelerphoto have generously donated a free 1-hour photography and videography session! They are equal parts silly and sweet (as pictured above) and are friends of Charis through NAIM. To make things easy on our part and yours, anyone who donated/fundraised in the months of Nov & Dec will be automatically entered into the photography giveaway. we will announce the winner in January. So, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all who love Charis and call it "home". We sure miss seeing you in this place. Last week we learned that a person very special to Charis Camp passed away. On September 16, 2020 Ewald Albert Lieske passed away at the age of 102. Rev. Lieske along with Rev. A. G. Knopp founded Charis Camp in 1946 and oversaw the construction of our first permanent building, the Tabernacle. Hi Charis family. Those of you that have been around camp the last few years know we have a trusty old Gator that helps us keep things up and running around here. Right at the beginning of COVID the secondary clutch went on it and we've been without our trusty steed ever since! Thanks to a Canada Summer Jobs grant we have a student working a few days a week and he would really benefit from having the Gator back. Would anyone like to help us get there? We're only looking for $500 to replace the clutch, as we have a volunteer ready and able to do the work! Head to chariscamp.com and click donate!

a huge shout out to @cassie.carb and team for bringing the word and leading a small group of us in songs of praise a couple weekends ago.
