What a neat way to encourage donation! Print money that encourages it's donation!
Charities around the world are facing the same issues in lack of fundraising. The U.S. is looking at their own ways to deal with the problem.

Charities CAN go bankrupt. Here is an example (albeit a unique one) of a charity that is apparently on the verge. I suspect there will be more choosing this route in the Covid aftermath.

The situation for for-profits is already bad, and getting worse, the situation for charities and not-for-profits is likely to be even uglier.
As a lawyer, I find the fact that the lawyer did not recuse himself as bewildering but as a lawyer for charities, I see this as a breach of the donor's privacy and an - admittedly unique - example of a reason why a donor may not wish to be recognized for his or her generosity. Charities need to think hard about thanking donors publicly.
Donating loyalty points is always topical, but perhaps even more so now.
I love blockchain in general. And this is a great experiment for tracking the use of donation dollars.
