Don't limit "spring cleaning" to just spring.. Fall is a fantastic time to tidy up your space, refresh things and donate or change up items that no longer have a purpose. I have had the following house chore on my to do list for a bit now: white washing the brick in the kitchen. I love how it turned out I used this opportunity to "spring" clean.. and can say I am very happy with the results. Have a great evening xo.. Let me know what you think of my refreshed space

Do you ever finish a paint project that turns out stunning. Then look at other rooms in the house and think, yuck, I don't like that color anymore... .. here's to painting the kitchen now... haha.. at least the painting tools are wet still.

Our dining room lights are finally hung up!! This particular area doesn't have many alternatives for mounting hardware. The ceiling above the kitchen table is vaulted with no attic and a big skylight.. Ideally we would have had the lights centered above the table. So.. We sat down one night and sketched out a couple of custom lights, picked a design we both liked, gathered the parts and voila!! We couldn't be happier with the out come. Contractors walk through today with roofing company and window company.... hopefully some fun stuff starts soon!

Our son had a pink bedroom for quite a while. While he was out of town I figured I would change it up for him. I love how this turned out! No planning at all, I just went for it. Let me know what you think.

I have always loved these glass planters. Today I finally got my butt to @artknapps and picked myself up one. Now we just need to install the hardware to get it hung up *hopefully I can keep it alive in here..
