And on that note I am delighted to announce that I am the Progressive Conservative candidate in the upcoming election for the District of Fortune Bay-Cape La Hune. Born and raised in St. Alban's, the daughter of Tom and Mary Walsh, one of eight children and I am the only one left living in Newfoundland. Like so many people, particularly in rural NL, they left to seek employment. A story all to...o familiar. I believe in a strong rural NL and feel that it is an important part of the overall health of this province. The communities in Fortune Bay-Cape La Hune have tremendous potential. It boasts some of the most natural scenic geography found anywhere. I also believe that in order for this district to succeed we will need to be creative in our thinking and think outside of the box. I have been self employed as a successful Realtor for the past 20 years and you can not be that without hustle, hard work and determination.
