This day three years ago was simply the most devastating day of our lives. We had to say goodbye to our Charlie Grace. If you asked me then , if I ever thought being where we are today could be possible, the answer was undeniably no. We have a perfectly healthy little boy who amazes us everyday. When you are so engrossed in your grieving process you can't imagine life ever being good again.... I never thought we would be as lucky as we are today. Our journey to have a family ...has been spirit crushing and amazing all at the same time. We had a miscarriage last month at 12 weeks... sometimes life just isn't fair, and that was a terribly hard thing to accept. After what happened to our Charlie, I didn't think anything like this could happen to us, it should have been enough losing her, we didn't need to have that wound ripped open again, but it happened and all we can do is take the time to heal.
