Flexibility Friday Supine Hamstring Stretch with a Strap!!!!!! Here is another great way to stretch those thight hamstring muscles at the back of your thighs. I love this stretch especially because I can lie down and relax Watch the video to see how to perform the stretch safely!! Hold stretch 30 secs to 1 minute and repeat 2-3 times ... Some tips If you cannot get down on the floor, perform the stretch on your bed. If you have joint restriction in your hips or knee, try one of my previous modified hamstring stretches. While stretching if you experience pain or discomfort, back off the intensity of the stretch. If it still continues, stop and check your technique. If you cannot hold the stretch for 30 secs or longer hold for 10 secs and gradually build up to 30 secs.
