Meet Kayla one of our #ChartwellsHeroes from the #EastCoast! Kayla has recently been promoted to District Manager for our Chartwells K-12 schools in Newfoundland, and we are incredibly proud of how she inspires and motivates everyone around her. Her colleagues describe Kayla’s leadership best: Kayla has stepped up tremendously by taking on the of District Manager and she is doing a phenomenal job. While this would be a huge task at the best of times she is still up to th...e challenge during these most unprecedented times. Besides working full time, she is a wife and a mom of two young children, and she goes above and beyond for everyone including her family. - Patricia, Area Supv. Her supervisors have a great work ethic because they want to make her proud. That says a lot about a manager. Kayla proves time and time again that she can handle anything, with grace. We are lucky to have her as part of our team. Meaghan, Ops Mgr. I truly feel she is deserving of being noticed and recognized for all she is doing for Chartwells and her team. Annette, Ops Support Mgr. Kayla’s invigorating energy and positivity is electric! - Paulette, Area Supv. Thank you for your #leadership Kayla! #feelgoodfriday #thinkingaheadgivingback #students #frontlineheroes Brenda O'Neill

#OrangeShirtDay is held on September 30th each year to carry forward the conversation and raise awareness of Canada’s Residential Schools. It is a time for meaningful discussions about Reconciliation and the effects Residential Schools had on First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. It is also a day to reaffirm survivors, their families, and those who have been affected that they matter and that #EVERYCHILDMATTERS.
This year’s theme for the @United Nations International Youth Day is Youth Engagement for Global Action, which seeks to highlight the engagement of young people at the local, national and global levels, and how they are enriching national and international institutions and processes. Every day we are privileged to serve so many inspiring youths in Canada at K-12, Private Schools, and Higher Education institutions. Today and every day, we celebrate and acknowledge young people’s voices, leadership, meaningful engagement, and commitment to enriching their communities! #31DaysofYOUth #ChartwellsTAGB #ThinkingAheadGivingBack
