Valleyview and Chase Veterinary Clinics are now offering Telemedicine for your pet family! We are pleased to offer you a consulting option from the comfort of your home. If you have recently returned home for self-isolation, caring for a sick family member, are immunocompromised, live remotely or for any other reasons may be choosing to not leave home, but still need access to Veterinary Care, telemedicine offers a solution. Much like virtual doctor’s appointments many issues... can be addressed or triaged by phone. If you would like to access this service, please phone our reception at 250 374-5649, or email [email protected] and we will arrange a video call between the doctor, yourself and your pet. We will listen to your pet’s health history, we will see your pet via video feed, and triage your pets care. We can advise if we recognize your pet has a minor ailment that can be resolved at home, or if we recommend that your pet to come into the hospital for further examination, blood testing or xrays. After the consultation, if determined by the veterinarian, we can have prescription medications couriered to your door or made ready for pick up. The viral pandemic has caused much unrest in our lives and routines, and we want pet families to know that we are here to ensure that your pets health is priority. We are committed to community care and will be donating $5.00 from every consult to the Kamloops Food bank to support vulnerable local families during this difficult time. As we adjust to the current situation surrounding COVID we are only going to be open in Chase on Thursdays which are going to be Vet days. There will not be anyone in the clinic on Tuesdays until further notice. If you are in need of any food or medication please contact our Valleyview Clinic (250-374-5649) by Tuesday and we order what you need for Thursday. Our suppliers are struggling to keep up with some items but are making every effort to get products to customers in a t...imely fashion. If you would like to minimize contact or time spent in public spaces pre-payment is an option by credit card through our Valleyview Clinic (250-374-5649) and we will bring the item to your vehicle when you arrive in Chase. Our Chase number when you arrive for pick up Thursday is 778-765-1018 If you choose to pick up your supplies or have your animal examined in Kamloops please be aware we are not having customers enter the building. We are providing veterinary visits via curb-side drop off and pick up. As for food and medications - please call ahead, we'll accept payment with credit card by phone and when you arrive we will bring the product to your vehicle (just call when you are in the parking lot). Thanks for being understanding. This is certainly uncharted territory for all of us!

We will be open tomorrow March 19 regular hours - 8:30-4pm (closed for lunch from noon-1pm). We will be doing our best to keep high touch surfaces regularly wiped. If you are not feeling well we ask you to have someone else bring your animal to the clinic with the necessary history. If you would rather not enter the building we can come get our animal from your vehicle and take it for its examination and return it to you in your vehicle once the exam is complete.
