Hi there, Chase here... After Dylan and I toured Vancouver Island, we came home and held our anti- Halloween dinner / bonfire .. Robert and Linda provided awsome music and we all sang along... While on our tour, we felt God saying to quit looking for open doors for our ministry.. we have enough anyways... We felt The Lord was saying to now .."BE AN OPEN DOOR" .. Within a... week or so of seeking God, a door opened for us.. We have now rented the bar downstairs of Alice's restaurant, it even has a pool table, disco lights.. to ad to ours, and seating for about 70...if covid 19 finally drifts away .. hopefully we reopen Dec 7. We have had to suspend our downstairs meetings as of two weeks ago due to tighter restrictions on gatherings... But we are able to gather, spread out 6-7 ft apart in the cafe` upstairs... This is just fine for now... Our rent is paid up to January.. and Dylan and I are able to still paint and organize the sanctuary downstairs. This is a very new beginning.. so we named it NEW BEGINNINGS REVIVAL CENTER. We have already been an open door to out of town musicians... as we have been all year round, with our Festival of Fire and many live music park events all summer here and out of town... We will carry on as God leads, Trusting that we will have this Bar-style- 60 s style coffeehouse for a good long time. Our October Tour, on the road, to Port Hardy and back ! I'm sure you will enjoy the scenery. Some of our team members wanted to go with us, but we felt his was not the best timing for that. We have enjoyed mystery trips with our team locally and as far as Victoria IN OUR RV. We were seeking God for... open doors for our ministry, but in the end we felt God was saying. "Be an OPEN DOOR !" Since we have returned safely, to Nanaimo, we have now... become an open door. We have rented a bar downstairs from Alice's Restaurant in South Nanaimo for a Sunday evening revival service, also a Tuesday 4pm Outreach {of which has been going on weekly since May} a Thursdy 4PM Ron's writers circle { VERY GOOD!} ALL YEAR and a Friday night coffee house.. [very Cool...60's with disco lights etc...} Named 'New Beginnings Revival Center' we are now an open door for evangelists, pastors, worship leaders, soloists, special speakers... to come and share thier giftings, we also desire to share with them -our other OPEN DOORS It is very hard for gifted ministers to find open doors.. I know.. as it has been hard for me to find open doors over the past 30 years. Now we have a venue for ourselves and for others... I am getting phone calls from Campbell River to Victoria, Duncan, Sooke, from Christian Bands who are anxious to come to Nanaimo. Many ! .... WE HELD FIVE MEETINGS AND THEN THE LATEST COVID 19 RESTRICTIONS HIT ! WE CANNOT MEET IN OUR DOWNSTAIRS SANCTUARY UNTIL DEC 7 BUT WE ARE LEGALLY ABLE TO CONTINUE MEETING ..SPREAD OUT IN THE CAFE` UPSTAIRS. PLEASE PRAY FOR US AS WE ARE NEW AND THE ENEMY IS TRYING TO STOP ALL CHURCH GATHERINGS. EVERYTHING WE ARE DOING IS TOTALLY LEGAL AND OUR GOD IS BLESSING US EVERY DAY... weekly more are added to our group. THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HELD US UP IN PRAYER WHILE ON OUR FALL TOUR
