As a reminder, the unemployment data that we provide monthly relies on information pulled from Employment Insurance and the Labour Force Survey. Due to the challenges presented with COVID-19, this information is not available to us at the Chatham-Kent level. Therefore, the information we are presenting relates to our economic region, which includes Sarnia-Lambton, Windsor Essex, and Chatham-Kent. We are unsure when the Chatham-Kent specific information will again be available to us. In the interim, we will be reporting on our region’s data. Windsor-Sarnia's unemployment numbers were down 0.1% in October 2020.
