Const. Rob Herder is saluted by both sworn and civilian members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service as well as members of the Chatham-Kent Fire & Emergency Servi...ces as the hearse carrying the officer, who served 43 years in community patrol, passes by police headquarters in Chatham on Saturday, shortly after his funeral. Herder died on June 29, at age 64, after a short, courageous battle with cancer. Pictured below, members of CKFES flew this large Canadian flag near police headquarters in honour of Herder.
