In 2014 - There are nearly 3,000 RVT's in Ontario, and the OAVT has over 3,000 members. Here are some of the faces that you will talk to our Chatham-Kent location. Chatham-Kent and surrounding area is very lucky to have such a caring and highly skilled group of RVT's that work in this community. They love their patients, and that shines through every day!

In 2006- Bylaws were passed establishing the RVT profession as the first such group in the world to become a self-regulated professional body. Here are some of your RVT's faces that you will talk to at the South Ridge Veterinary Clinic, they make your visit in Ridgetown personably and absolutely love to see all of their patients each day!

In 1991 the OAAHT (Ontario Association of Animal Health Technicians) became the OAVT (Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians). In 1995 membership of the OAVT was at 900 and growing. Here are some faces you will recognize from our Blenheim team - this team brings a lot of experience and skill to the profession and we wouldn't be able to provide the care we do without them each day!

CK Vets Technician Charlotte Hogan, RVT, CCRP has started a new business A Dog’s Comfort, Canine Rehabilitation and Comfort Care! Over the last couple years, Charlotte has offered rehabilitation services through CK Vets. Now she has moved to a new dedicated space in Wallaceburg. Same great service, new location! Rehabilitation helps our pets increase strength, mobility and balance. Rehab can help reduce pain, muscle loss and weight as well as slow some disease processes and help out pets age gracefully. To see how A Dog’s Comfort may help your pet, visit our website at adogscomfort.ca or email Charlotte at [email protected].

COVID left us no choice but to adapt to a new world, limiting the physical interaction between our staff and our clients. Thank YOU for adapting to curbside and social distancing protocols and patiently waiting longer than desired when visiting our clinic. We are thankful to you, our loyal clients, and your pets. We would not be here without you! We will keep evolving our routines as the days go by. If your request is not urgent, you may want to email us, as our phone lines are still being used to do portions of our appointments each day.
