We are back from the holidays and starting our weekly virtual meetings again. So wonderful to see everyone’s faces again, even over a screen! We are starting the year with a very important topic and one that has been a priority - clean water. Many thanks to Gary Sobotta of the Water & Sanitation Rotarian Action Group for your presentation today!
Our friend at Rotary Sunrise are holding a trivia night next month. Sounds like fun! Details below!
Tonight will be our last TV Bingo Tuesday program until January 26 due to public health restrictions. If restrictions are lifted at that time, our next game will be Tuesday, January 26th. We will update this page closer to the date. Many thanks for your support of our TV Bingo Tuesdays! We hope to see you in a few weeks. Stay safe everyone and happy holidays!

Rotary is open to all. We work hard to be an inclusive organization but can always do more. We celebrate and honour the trans and gender diverse communities as part of Trans Awareness Week.
Great news announced this week regarding the ACCESS Open Minds CK Youth Hub. Our Club helped create this facility and have been big supporters of youth mental health initiatives in Chatham-Kent for over a decade. The Province announced $5.8 million for youth wellness teams at 10 Youth Wellness Hubs across Ontario. These youth-friendly service locations are designed for youth, and offer walk-in access to primary care and mental health and addictions services for people between the ages of 12 and 25. AOM is one of these youth hubs and we could not be happier to hear this news. #ckont #mentalhealthmatters https://us7.campaign-archive.com/
We had a very interesting presentation this week from Dave & Katy Smith. They spoke about building their dream home in South Kent off the grid! We learned a lot about what goes into managing electricity and resources and conservation too. Thanks Dave & Katy for sharing your story!

The photos from our 2020 #Pizza4Polio are still coming in and we are thrilled! The Smith family sent us this great photo of their order from Pie-Zano's. Thank you to these cute fellows and everyone who supported our polio eradication initiatives by supporting local restaurants! And if you’ve got photos to share, we would love to see them! #CKONT
