Not many places are open during the holidays so we put together a list of organizations/restaurants that will be providing free Christmas dinners on Dec 24th and 25th. If you know of a place that is not on this list please let us know in the comment section

Our Holiday Food box give away went down without a hitch and could not have been done without the staff, volunteers and donors. The dedication and support from businesses and individuals from near and far is what made this a reality. We also would like to give a big shout out to the SMUSA Patrol for delivering food packs to those with mobility issues. There is no way we could have pulled this off without the generous, caring folks who believe in our work and community. A heartfelt Thank You and Happy Holidays from all of us here at Chebucto Connections.

Congratulations to one of our Pathways students!!! Their holiday card was chosen to be featured on Pathways to Education Canada website to show appreciation to Pathways donors, supporters, volunteer tutors and mentors. "I used the words Happy holidays to be inclusive of other celebrations going on with different cultures and I used a green colour pallet because they say green is a calming colour and during these times we should remember to be calm. Shadows for the letters were also added to promote depth, and a North Star can be found at the top right corner along with snowflakes, a layer of snowfall and pine trees to signify winter and the holidays."
