Charlotte Aschim was working in grocery stores when she was a student. She was astounded to see the tremendous amounts of food being wasted at the end of every day. So she started a "manual logbook" of expiration dates to help give the store a better overview, and started to think about how technology could benefit the business. Years later, she develops an app to digitize food inventory management and help fight food waste while saving consumers' time and money!

#packdemia is a non-profit initiative and humanitarian project formed in response to COVID-19. Their mission is to distribute hundreds of thousands of hospital beds to temporary hospitals all over the world in a way that is effective and affordable. Unlike a standard hospital bed, the Packdemia Bed-Kit is 100 times cheaper, easily palletized, quickly assembled, and is made from recyclable cardboard, while still preserving the traditional functionality of a 3-position adjustable backrest.
