Goodbye 2020! It's been a wild year... A lot of us had to make drastic changes and major sacrifices. That being said there has been numerous opportunities for people that have been looking to adapt and change to the current times. In the New Year I invite all of you to challenge yourself, physically, mentally and spiritually. Challenge yourself and push your limits. Pick up a book, try out a new workout routine and meditate on who you are and who you want to be. All the be...st to you and your families. I pray 2021 brings love, healing and new beginnings. Words can't describe how I feel about the restaurant industry right now... Chef Jason, I am sorry to hear about what happened to you and your restaurant. If there's anything I can do for you and your family, please let me know. I know that you will be hugely succesful in whatever next adventure awaits you in the future. You are an incredibly talented Chef. Thank you for all that you do and I will always cherish the moments we had at Grunt. To everyone else that has lost their jobs or is going through tough times, please stick in there. The industry will slowly rebuild as time progresses. Sometimes life takes unexpected turns. We never know when it will happen and what will happen. The only thing we can do when it does happen is to take one of two decisions: -Admit defeat ... or -Get back up and keep pushing Option two is the choice that will cause you the most resistance but once you're back up, you get back to walking and eventually running again. YOU DECIDE EVERYDAY. Words can't describe what some of us have experienced. For those who are down, I am sending you love. RIP to the lost ones, you have impacted our lives in so many ways.
