Love transforming someone’s look-This was a major covid hair turnaround! I brought her colour back to a rich copper brown using the l’oreal product line. This lady has finer hair but a lot of it, so I did a shag cut to create lots of layers for weightless volume and movement.

This one is tough... easier said than done! I’m on week 7 of lockdown here in York Region and putting on yoga pants and throwing my hair up in a top knot has been a daily occurrence. (Vulnerable moment here ) ... When I looked in the mirror I would just start picking at my faults and I can’t even tell you why but I can tell you that it didn’t make me feel good!! Anyway, over the past couple days I have made a conscious effort to put on a little bit of make up- just some concealer, blush, a little highlighter and a spritz of my fav perfume I make a point of smiling - I feel prettier when I smile-and telling myself I’m beautiful ( I know it sounds lame and I felt silly doing it but it did help ) We would never speak to our friends (or even strangers) the way we speak to ourselves sometimes... In fact, imagine saying to someone what you say to yourself- how does that make you feel? Brutal right?! My Challenge of the week: Be kind to yourself- Seriously! Do something for you that makes you feel more confident and beautiful. P.S If you’ve ever sat in my chair and tried to bash yourself- you’ll know I don’t tolerate it!
