The Chemung Lake District Lions drive thru barbecue to support local foodbanks

Chemung Lake District Lions held a successful Drive Thru BBQ today in support of our local food banks in Bridgenorth and Buckhorn. Thank you to the lions and friends for a great day's work and to our wonderful guests, many of whom had a picnic in the park.

The Jones Beach Project there was a total of 60 kids went through the 2 weeks of the program.The program was shortened by Covid-19.

Due to the #COVID19 pandemic, the Chemung Lake Lions Club will not be hosting any Bridgenorth Cruise Nights on Monday evenings at the Paul J. English Park. The club wishes to thank all of the regular event supporters and look forward to being able to host them again in May 2021!

Today the Chemung Lake District Lions were pleased to deliver a cake, sandwiches, fruit, a coffee maker and coffee pods to the staff Riverview Manor and nursing home as part of the A3 Lions Adopt a Long Term Care facility programme . This is our way of showing support for the hard working staff.

Today it was time to thank our local pharmacy staff with donuts from Tim Hortons. Thanks to all our front line workers from the Chemung Lake District Lions.

To all Lions Clubs The Chemung Lake District Lions have made a $5000.00 donation to the PRHC to help purchase safety equipment for hospital staff in the fight against COVID-19. The Chemung Lions have also asked all other Lions Clubs in the our Zone to make a donation to PRHC or their local hospital to help fight COVID-19.Lions hope everyone is safe, wash hands, practice safe distancing and support your local hospital staff.
