Perspective is everything My life today is very different from my life a few years back. I was working in a busy, corporate office, juggling multiple demands, ...deadlines and priorities between home and work. Now my deadlines revolve around mealtimes and school bells. I was walking my kids to school the other day and reflecting on how quickly life changes and how, if we're not careful we can become unhappy with our current situation. I was missing my old job. Then I looked at my kids and listened to them chatting on the way to school. They were happy, healthy and getting the benefit of their mother walking them to school every day. I reminded myself that although my "job" is different, it is just as valuable and important.
