Thank you to @darlenegbutts for recommending this read. I’ve just started it but I believe it’s going to help me release those limiting beliefs I impose on myself and in turn hold me back! If so, this exercises if for you! ... The act of raising your arm is called shoulder flexion. This is a movement we perform everyday. Whether it's to reach for your favorite cereal in the morning or simply waving to say hello to a friend lol. The point is we use this action more than you think. With ware and tare we stop exploring these areas with pain because it's painful but the simple fact is we must gain strength and space in that area. Simple cues: 1. Squeeze your glutes while performing this exercise 2. Ensure you're breathing through the movement 3. While rotating, keep arms straight and elevate them as high as possible from the floor Perform 4 rounds of these every day and you'll be thanking me in weeks time. CAUTION IF YOU HAVE ANY SHOULDER FLEXION PAIN DO NOT PERFORM ANY OVERHEAD MOVEMENTS. You can always have a FRESH START! Today is mine. . It’s the new year, it’s a new week and I’m starting off 2021 with a new mindset. It’s time to get back on track with my exercise and nutrition. I have allowed my knee and back issues to affect me in a negative way. I have been pacifying myself with food. An old habit I had thought i had kicked a few years back but old habits die hard. My drug of choice is food and it seems my frustrations with plaguing back spasms ...recently and knee issues over the past 7 months and other life stuff has had me resorting to old ways and habits that do not serve me well. I guess I’m human. I must admit I do not feel as energetic, my clothes don’t fit and I’m definitely more moody. It’s time to prove to myself once again that I can do anything once I set my mind to it. My mind is set, so here I go, 2021 here I come! See more

Never lose the kid inside you! I just came back from an awesome walk outdoors! The temperature was a perfect -3 degrees Celsius. It was lightly snowing and simply the perfect situation. It brought back a flood of great memories of me as a child......times with my family tobogganing, building snowman outdoors, snowball fights, making snow angels and lots of ice skating. Did you ever try to catch snow flakes on your tongue too? LOL

Life is about balance! I did not waffle about eating these this morning! They were rather yummy and healthy except for the dollop of fresh whipped cream but I’m not apologizing
