Trudeau highlighted the major difference between air borders and land borders. You can prevent someone from boarding a flight in Miami or elsewhere, Trudeau said. You can’t prevent someone who is standing at a land border crossing from entering Canada because technically they’re already on Canadian soil when they’re speaking to that customs officer.

Our full time away was supposed to be spent in St Lucia at 2 different properties, but a cancelled flight home resulted in a change of plans and that brought us to Florida. We stayed at 2 different hotel/ resort properties while there , both different in what they had to offer but equally amazing. A few pictures from our recent visit to Sandals Grand St Lucia. This is an absolutely amazing property. The staff, food, services, and safety and cleaning protocols in place are incredible. We had an amazing time in St Lucia even though it was cut shorter than planned, but actually led to a longer new adventure. We did make the choice to travel and with that assumed the risks involved. From the moment we entered the airport to start our journey until we arrived back home we were very aware of where we were and what we did. We experienced a couple of unexpected surprises, which resulted in a big change of plans but we got through it.

No matter what’s happening in the world, mine will always be sunscreen and the ocean.
