On August 31st let’s celebrate Jimmy, our #1 fan for decades, giving back the love and support he has given our teams and players in his own Drive By Honking Event! Hello Chesley Minor Ball Parents, It is with deep regret that due to the Covid 19 pandemic and the ongoing restrictions in place including groups still being limited to 10 people or less effective Friday June 12th, the teams within our Grey Bruce Minor Softball league have voted to cancel the 2020 Ball Season. After careful thought and consideration for the safety of our players, coaches and volunteers, Chesley Minor Ball has also made the decision to cancel the 2020 season.... With the current climate and the social gathering restrictions, and the Return to Play guidelines set out by Softball Canada it is near impossible to conduct a ball season (even practices) with minimal time to prepare and limited volunteers and resources. This was a difficult decision for the Chesley Minor Ball executive as we know kids are keen to get back out to the diamond this summer! The ball diamonds are open for smaller groups and are looking good, so we encourage you to get your players out to practice throwing/hitting/running the bases. Keep their love of the game alive!! For those families who have submitted registration fees you will be receiving a full refund. An executive member will be in contact in the very near future to make arrangements. Also, if you did not get the opportunity to return you Uniform shirt at the end of last season please email [email protected] to arrange for drop off. Thank you for your understanding. If restrictions were to loosen up later in the summer we will try to run some practices/skills sessions for our kids provided we have the resources. If and when this is possible we will reach out.
