It's coming up this weekend! We've hit double digits for this weekend's Fredericton Open. Remember that if you are unable to play on Friday evening, there is a two day schedule option available!

Hello everyone! The first two events in Fredericton this decade have been scheduled! Taking place from February 14-16, the Fredericton Open returns this winter with five rounds in two schedule options. Schedule A has a round on Friday evening with two games on each of Saturday and Sunday, while Schedule B has three games on Saturday and two on Sunday, with the first two on Saturday having a quicker time control so that the schedules can merge for round 3. Debuting this year, ...the Fredericton Active Chess Championship will take place on March 14. For those of you who played in the NB Active last September, this tournament is set to have the same format, with five games played at 25 minutes plus a ten second increment in one day of fun.
