How big was a dinosaur? We used helium balloons to help us understand how big dinosaurs actually were. One student stood where the front feet would be, one student stood where the end of the tail would be and Ms. Jamie raised the balloons to where the top of the head would be. The brontosaurus wouldn't even fit in the gym. We could only raise the balloons to where the top of his hip would be.
