The Chetwynd Sani Dump Station, located beside the Little Prairie Heritage Museum on Westgate road, has had its potable water turned on for the season! Happy camping!

The deadline is December 1. Can we leap out front in Zone F for the Club Membership contest? I think we can! Cross-country skiing is a great way to stay fit a...nd to maintain social distancing guidelines and Chetwynd Outdoors Society volunteers work hard to maintain a ski trail at the Little Prairie Community Forest - just 7 km from town. Signing up with the BC Cross Country Ski Association benefits the Society by providing insurance for the skiers and we get some coveted swag to share if we get the most members in our zone! It's easy to become a member Just go to Zone4.ca and scroll to the Chetwynd Outdoors Society and go through the steps. It will cost you about $22.00 for an adult membership. Towns our size, or smaller, across BC sign up 100's of members. Let's see what we can do! New to the sport and want to try it? We have a partnership that will lend you a set of skis, boots and poles for a donation fee. Contact Marcie Fofonoff at 250-401-8842 if you would like more information on that.
