Yes, the Glen Eden ski and snowboard season is happening! It should come as no surprise to anyone that the ski and snowboard season is going to look a little different for us all this year. Here at Glen Eden, we are making some changes to protect the health and safety of our staff and visitors, but we are committed to providing you and your family with the fun and memorable experience that you have come to expect on the hill. For the safety of our staff, visitors and healthcare workers in our community, Glen Eden has made the difficult but necessary decision to close for the season. With so many of our industry partners closing to reduce the spread of COVID-19, we want to support these efforts. Today will be our last day of the season. If you are registered for an upcoming lesson program, you will receive an email from Glen Eden and be contacted, personally, by a staff member from Visitor Services.... (Due to the high volume of communications, it might take some time for you to be contacted.) Early Bird sales will still be available 2020-2021 but purchases will need to be made online or over the phone as the Glen Eden Visitor Centre will be closed to the public. We want to thank everyone who came out to ski and snowboard with us during 2019-2020 and we look forward to another great season with you in 2020-2021!

Glen Eden is going to be open tomorrow (Wednesday) but we will have reduced terrain and lifts in order to preserve snow for the weekend and next week. Please check our website to find out which lifts and runs are open.

Glen Eden will be closed on Tuesday, March 10. Warm temperatures and forecasted rains, closing tomorrow will allow us to keep groomers off the hill, so we can preserve as much snow as possible for later this week and through March Break. We are looking to be open on Wednesday at regular hours. Thank you for your understanding.

Were doing everything we can to make winter last, so you can get the most out of this season! Last night, temperatures were cold enough for us to blow snow, so this weekend is going to be a good one!

Glen Eden Days are here! From February 28 (thats today!) to March 8, Glen Eden will be offering lift tickets for $30, only available for purchase at Corbetts Ski + Snowboard! We will also have Corbetts and K2 Skis on the hill for a ski race, ski and snowboard rail jam and lots of other activities. Click the graphic for details.

Glen Eden will be closing early today (Thursday, February 27), due to a major power outage, in combination with extremely high winds. In the interest of visitor safety, we are now closed for the remainder of the day and will open again on Friday, February 28 at 8:30 am. Those registered in Lesson Programs on Thursdays will receive an email from Visitor Services with further detail.

Please note that we are currently experiencing a power outage, effecting sales, lifts and other operations, but we hope to have the issue resolved soon, so hours of operation should not be impacted. Please check back for updates.

As many of you are aware, it looks like were in for some serious rain this weekendwe could even get 50-75mm on Saturday. Unfortunately, for the safety of our staff and visitors, lessons and programs will be postponed on Saturday, January 11 and Sunday, January 12, but there will be an opportunity to make up these lessons on Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15. Lesson participants affected by these cancellations will receive an email from Visitor Services with more information. As for the hill, the decision to close or open will be made on the morning of each day, according to conditions. If you are hoping to come out to Glen Eden this weekend, make sure to check the website or social media for updates.

OPERATIONS ANNOUNCEMENT Due to the inclement weather, and the freezing rain warnings that are coming through for the afternoon, Glen Eden will be closing today at 4:30 pm. We will be opening again at 8:30 am on December 30th. Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the slopes today. We want to be sure all our guests drive safely on their way home. First chair was just loaded at Glen Eden! These guys have camped out to get first chair for three years in a row! They even cook breakfast at the base of the lift. We might be a hill but our community has the heart of a mountain.
