Get enough sleep I know, easier said than done! I can offer a few tips here though: i) Aim to go to bed by 10pm because that way you are respecting your body's natural circadian rhythm and the quality of your sleep will be enhanced... ii) Drink some golden milk before going to bed (the turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties, it’s an anti-oxidant and helps induce relaxation & sleep) iii) Left nostril breathing for 3-5 minutes will help calm the nervous system and prepare you for sleep See more

Did you know eating lots of high fat foods and stress the liver? Be attentive to the quality of the fats you eat and avoid partially hydrogenated oils in particular (found in margarine, fried fast foods, doughnuts, packaged (microwavable) popcorn, to name a few. What is one of the fundamental purposes of your spine? It is to protect your spinal cord. Knowing that fact alone, would you want to compromise the integrity of that spine in any way and twist and load it in all sorts of different positions?
Pilates is beneficial for helping to maintain bone strength, improving muscle strength and balance, as well as helping with pain and posture. But there are some exercises where you may ‘over flex’ your spine if you push yourself to the limits.
