This is one for the books. When I first met @tanseyclaire back in 2010, we became besties pretty darn quick. Kindred spirits and all that. But I could never have predicted that, years later, I’d have the privilege of working on not one but TWO of her cookbooks. I am honoured to have edited this beauty, which launched mid-September. Matt has also worked on Claire’s projects over the years, designing her first book proposal and answering the phone whenever a design consult was needed. So proud. One thing we love about our work is that we get to sink our teeth into all different kinds of content. @storylytics is a great example of this: We’ve collaborated with data storytelling guru Laura Warren on a number of articles and graphics over the past year, which has meant learning something new with every project. Back in the spring, the UN issued a #UNOpenBrief to creatives to create something to help stop the spread of #COVID19. Matt took on the challenge. Done as a tribute to wartime posters (because this is a war!) Matt's design illustrates the effectiveness of washing your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds by showing fingerprints retreating from a sudsy bar of soap.... Now we'll just be over here waiting for the Brad Pitt and Edward Norton references.

It’s been really fun writing for Walmart’s TheHUB this summer, and this might be my fave assignment so far. My children now think I’m taking their costumes super seriously, too, researching options for them for hours.
