Malabar spinach - taxonomically special veggie in our diversity salad. It is not a true spinach, which is in the Amaranth family, but rather belongs in the very petite Basella family that is much less known. Of all of the crops in our garden this one holds a special place. It is a vine and produces such delicate but long-lasting blossoms.

This is flower from edible chrysanthemum, also a good addition to the diversity salad.

Nasturtium - we use the leaves and edible flowers in our diversity salad.
