PLS SHARE WIDELY Please share our press release reacting to yesterday's tepid, status quo, and completely unacceptable Draft 2021 Ottawa Budget. The budget completely reneges on (unanimous!) Council commitments made last December to invest in child care during this Term of Council. Meanwhile, the police budget is increasing, despite loud demands from dozens of organizations for precisely the opposite.... Our communities need investments in care, health, and the climate. We don't need more cops. See you at Circle Time Sunday at 10am to discuss what can be done, and sing some songs: https://bit.ly/3l1Elpx
