Online Workshop Bringing Back the Village: First Peoples Principles of Learning During this workshop, we will dive into the First Peoples Principles of Learning from the revised BC Early Learning Framework (ELF). We will discuss what impacts colonization has on the ways we educate our children. Discussion will occur around ways to challenge the colonial structure that has been placed on our education system. Orange Shirt Day (September 30th) is a day when we honour the Indigenous children who were sent away to residential schools in Canada and learn more about the history of those schools.
