Childhood Cancer Family Support

Anyone else been obsessed with 'The Home Edit' on @Netflix lately!? WE certainly are! It's #OrganizeYourHomeDay and with the holiday decor likely down and away, and some new things to find places for, there's no better time than now to do it! Often for families dealing with childhood cancer, organizing is the least of your worries, and you're probably just getting by with the bare minimum most days. We see you, and know there is atime for everything, and that might not be now for you. Hot tip: do projects in small manageable chunks, get a friend to join you in one of your projects with some a beverage of your choice (if it's safe to do so), and don't forget to watch this fabulous duo for some inspiration and genius ideas for getting organized!

Yup, that old saying, smiles are contagious has its own day... and that's TODAY! #JoyGermDay The idea behind calling it joy germ was because germs and other pathogens spread from person to person so readily. So it seemed a good idea that happiness should also be highly infectious. So let's spread some of the good stuff, and not the stuff were all trying to avoid! Stay safe.

ANSWER: TOO COMMON. Ok, actual answer: Childhood cancer is RARE (not our words). In North America, ONE IN 248 will be diagnosed with cancer before they reach age 20. Advances in treatment have increased survival for many children. However, cancer remains the second leading cause of death in children ages 1 to 14, after unintentional injuries. This is NOT rare. ... Childhood Cancer needs more attention, more funding, more research, more family financial support.
