As we continue to recognize November as Financial Literacy month, here is an idea to help your child save money. For further ideas about financial literacy for children, refer to the TD website, www.TD.com
The distribution of Christmas Hampers is different this year. Pick up will be by appointment only. Registration is now open online to book appointments --> https://centreofhope.ca/christmas/ Please share this information. You don't know who may be struggling financially, and this could help a family put food on the table and a few gifts under the tree over the holidays. The Christmas Hamper Program provides families and individuals below the Low Income Cut Off with a box of food containing the items needed to prepare a traditional Christmas dinner and toys for children ages 12 and under.
We are big believers in creative play and using open-ended materials. What are your little artists interested in? Can you find materials around your home to create and make with? Set up an area with these found items, supplies and tools, and see what what happens! P.S. Playdough is one of our favourite materials.
