The Children's Own Media Museum Request for Proposals from young people age 10-18 Help us re-imagine the Children's Own Media Museum-become a Media Curator for the day; add your voice to the story of Toronto’s first Children’s Media Museum. If you could create a children’s media museum in one of the most dynamic cities in the world, what would you create and what would you create or communicate?... Our museum has been inspired by some of the work of Canadian scholar and media genius Marshall McLuhan. Have you ever heard of Marshall McLuhan? What does Marshall McLuhan have to do with children? Have you heard the saying The medium is the message? "The environment is not visible. It’s information. It’s electronic." Look him up 1. Develop a game 2. Shoot and edit a video- 3.
