Tomorrow, Tuesday June 21st is going to be amazing! It might be the best ride of the year! You don't want to miss it. The time to meet will be 745pm. We will be meeting at the top of reefer. This gives everyone and anyone a bunch of time to get there. If you're unfit or lazy you can drive up. If you are sporty but short on time you can ride up the gravel road. If you are Scott Simpson you can ride up single track the entire way. Either way don't be late cause we will be star...ting the ride at 745 from the top of reefer. The plan for the ride will be to ride up from reefer to KOM and check out the sweet view. From there we will ride down a new loamer that will take us out to the top of BFH/Tri power. Then we can decide what way we want to take to the bottom. See you all at 745 tomorrow.

There's something really gratifying about showing off your local trails to someone from out of town. Tonight, three of us "locals" had the pleasure showing off some of Vedder's newest trails to Craig from Kamloops. If you've been a contributor to the local trail scene (sometimes it's a little; sometime's it's a lot--but we do what we can when we can), you probably feel a sense of pride when you ride through an area you worked on. Maybe you've enjoyed sharing the tale of the N...otarizer and how it got it's name; maybe you shared the story of the day so many of us came together to haul those massive beams into lower Sunnyside Up; you might have shared the story of our local trail-building hero, Kerry Frayne, and how he poured so much effort into the trail that bears his name, and how lucky the riders of the Fraser Valley are to have guys like him and the core members of our club that spend time getting trails approved, organizing races, and doing so much more. Anyhow, it's time to re-balance my electrolytes. Cheers. See more

The trails are running sooooo good right now! Our local race series wrapped up on the weekend, so what better way to brag, make excuses, or get better than to enjoy the ever-improving trail network on our local mountain! As usual: show up at the Vedder Mtn bike parking lot with 2 bucks for the trails, and the ride starts at 6:30 sharp. Bring a buddy if you can. If the weather cooperates, we may look at riding Tamihi next time. If you haven't ridden there, it would be an ideal opportunity to check it out. Keep the rubber side down, folks!

Environment Canada says only a 30% chance of showers Tuesday. If you factor in a 70% chance of it not showering, and throw in a bunch more % just because riding is awesome, there is a significantly good chance of having a good time.
