The happiest winner award goes to Rob Vaish, the Eagle Division winner. This could be you next year if you sign up to be a member of the Chilliwack Golf League.

Chilliwack Golf League 09.02.2021

2020 Is a Wrap! What a crazy year it has been...from no golf in March to an insanely busy year for the golf industry. This year's Division winners were as follows:... Ace: Jerome Cavanagh Goose: Barclay Neilson Albatross: Shaun Miller Eagle: Rob Vaish Birdie: Mohan Gill Bogey: Deena Mirva. If you won a prize but were not at the wind-up to collect, swing by Cheam Mountain and grab your gift card. I look forward to helping you spend it on something awesome. The Rider Cup was fantastic and featured the largest field we have ever had. After day one, the Wannabes held a commanding 46-26 lead, but day two was a completely different story. It was shocking that the elder Couldabins could push forth with such an effort on their second day and make the competition come down to the wire. Ultimately, youth and exuberance came through, the Wannabes won for the 4th year in succession 73 points to 65. The putting contest ended with a six way tie. With the Covid, it was not deemed appropriate to move the tables and hold the traditional putt off upstairs. A draw was held instead, and Mr. Dean Meyer was the lucky winner. (Many have commented that his only chance was in a draw). This year's Fraser Cup has been postponed due to a conflict with the rearranged BC Match Play. We will try and reschedule for the spring, possibly in April. 2021 League Sign Up will begin in February. We can not wait for another great season to begin.
