The Refillery

Hi friends. I know it’s been a while. I’ve been looking for words for a long time and the truth is Earth Day makes it even harder and I never know where to begin or what to say to be able to justify and condensed down all that should be said. . But I will say, I hope you take this time today and you have been taking this time in these unprecedented times to truly tap into and honor the beauty of this earth and how incredibly powerful and beautiful upon measure that she is. . ...That when everything else seems scattered and like it doesn’t quite make sense you experience the grounding, the power, the healing that can come from simply standing with your feet in the earth and air in your lungs. . I hope we all notice how deeply systems need to change and what happens when we collectively come together for a cause and the difference it can make. . My hope is that When everything else seems to be taken away we notice how we turn to nature to fill us up and make us feel connected to something bigger and that we stop taking it for granted. Most of the day I was thinking about those who might not be able to make it out right now due to many factors and I want to make sure I am able to help where I can. As a small business owner and entrepreneur I have always said I will be as open and as honest as I can throughout this process right from the beginning. Some people may agree with it and some people may not. Many think it’s refreshing while others believe the tricky stuff should stay behind closed doors. And the truth is either way it is incredibly hard. There are many things along this journey that I wish I could have done different but at the same time believe we are all ju...st learning and growing as we go. . As I am sure many of you have noticed things have been a little quiet over here lately and for that I am sorry and thought it may be time to speak up. It has been a huge time of reflection and listening to my heart to stay as authentic as I can...which is seems is pulling my heart in many different directions. As of right now the fate of the Refillery is a little unknown as a number of things have come up that involve some big decisions. As of right now this isn’t an end and I will still be doing pop ups when I can - you can find me @presslandgeneral next Saturday 10-5 as I make plans and steps for what is next. . Things are constantly changing and evolving and I believe we have to roll with those waves as they come into our lives. I am thankful for each and everyone of you. From those that have been here since the beginning to those that maybe just started following yesterday. I am grateful for your understanding as well as understand any frustration that you may feel. . It’s true what people say that when you loose someone it makes you reevaluate your entire life and makes you notice what truly matters and that has been the case for me since October. So thankful for your grace and your patience. This isn’t quite goodbye but more so a reinvention and I will keep you updated each step of the way. See more
